Good question. Generally you will see both in series in things that really matter, but for a car just chose whatever is more convenient. I have a 200A CB on mine and a 100A fuse down the line.
    Fuses can be slower.
Not saying this is how it will happen, but if I have a 100A load for 3 seconds and a 200A spike for 0.1sec, the fuse could be fine and the CB will trip.

I wasn't quick enough to grab a picture, but I just saw a Sprinter with three axles and a camper body with the bed over the cab.

I can't even find a picture of something similar on the internet. That's how strange it was.

Harbor Freight 2 ton engine hoist is my best bet for pulling the motor on my 04 right? Seems to have a higher lift height than comparable ones. Would've done a gantry crane deal at my old place but this house has a sloped driveway and absolutely no space in comparison.

Yeah I pulled the 5VZ from my 4Runner with the 1 ton if I remember correctly. Looks like the 2 ton has more lift height so that's what I'll go with.

No aftermarket intake, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to find that intake is leaking. Maybe the old rubber boots are swelling after warming up for a minute and sealing off the noise makers. It does idle between rough and very rough for the first 3 or 6 seconds after cold starting. Today it almost stalled as I coasted out of the driveway. Never done that before...
    It's fine.:D
It also doesn't like to start hot. Usually I crank it for a good 5 seconds before it comes alive.

Cleaning the throttle body is on my list. It probably should be next on my list. I know the intake boot just upstream of the throttle body is ripped. Some guy ripped it doing a seafoam treatment. So I'll replace it while I'm in there.

Never would have guessed the fan noise I'm hearing could be related. It'd be cool if I could fix it. :notsure:
