Why not? That's kinda what they're for, the danger is with high spring rates like on coilovers, but 5lug springs are noodles

 

Yeah, I mean internally it's not uncommon for them to be above 900° for your whole ride. Are all your heat shields still there?

 

I don't have room for a big enough cabinet. Also I don't think they're gonna use sand on aluminum

 

I don’t trust those cheap portable ones. I’ve seen what they can do. I’d only ever use a wall mounted one at a shop.

It’s really a matter of principle, yeah it’s probablt not going to break. But I don’t want to take the risk.

I use glass beads with aluminum oxide when I sandblast my horns. For stuff like my cast iron differential, I use coarse Garnet.

Yes, still there. Took me by surprise as my water bottle was warm, laying on the floor just infront if the pass seat. Never noticed it before. I also have sound deadener under the carpet there too.
