Bummer, that's no good. Solid kennel and kennel training may help there.

The guy was fairly nice in person. He knew he was getting a deal and didn't even want to look at the damage when I was going over it. Basically ignored me while I talked.

End of an era. I've had a shell on the truck since early 2019. Plan is to pickup a Go Fast Camper regular shell with no popup tent. Once they're available of course. I realize a truck bed is never going to be a 4Runner but I want to get away from anything fiberglass in the future. I support GFC and the fact that if I broke something they'd be willing and able to sell me affordable replacement parts.

I'll offload about $1000 more in parts and gear over the next few months to help fund it.

Is there any official info on a GFC shell? I've seen it mentioned a few times but don't follow closely enough to know whether it's for real or just a rumor. I like the idea.

I was told by an employee that they'll be released "soon". I asked about 1st gen support and was told they'd support our trucks. I followed along on a few of their Instagram Q&As and it seemed like they were shooting for the spring of next year. But no official dates yet. Which is fine because I need to fund the purchase and plan a trip to Montana. They'll ship but I'd rather make a trip out of it.

Nah hopefully my 2004 is alright and I just need to get a head machined. Pulling it's engine later this month. The flatbed's engine isn't dead yet either.

    Yep!

Been eyeballing the stool at HF, but maybe I'll see what Lowes or HD has to offer when I go order that Wen drill press.

Way ahead of you, I ordered the same federal signal lightbars for the company truck and the van.

Decent angle of it. I won’t regret it. I do regret selling my 2003 ARE. It was a nicer/sturdier shell with zero issues. Sold it to a friend in Colorado.
