This is one of my work projects. I’m building a switch panel for the Ford van, I cut a piece of aluminum out and cut it to shape.

Was only aware of them offering full 8-way joysticks for Mame, etc.

So you’re just copying a real forklift setup? I can probably just use real used forklift controls with micro switches.

    Yep!

I mean, unless the joysticks movement is limited via a "track" which would make more sense.

Getting real controls could be pricey unless you so happen to find one junked

Yeah you could just make a slot in a faceplate so it's gated to one axis only

It would be easy to swap an e-locker 3rd into a 4Runner axle since all 4runners used an 8" housing, right?

I wonder what diff ratio a 2.7L manual 4Runner got. I'd guess 4.30, which would mean a matching e-locker could be easily sourced from a v6 auto TRD 4Runner.

Yup, I wondered about the swap myself but it had the factory elocker button to the left of the steering wheel in the pics. Could just be a really nice/thorough swap but it seemed stock

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
When I blow a CV axle, it can be plugged until I get home. I carry a spare.

If an ECT goes bad, will you get a check engine light? My truck starts rough cold, and is hard to start at temp, but no idiot lights. I've been running through all types of fixes in my head trying to figure out what to start with.

In my experience the coolant temp sensor doesn't throw a CEL but YMMV

Much better than blowing apart a hub lol

One of the guys I wheeled with last weekend said he tried it without a stub shaft once and didn't even make it 20 ft before the hub came apart
