oh there is a big movement to normalize breastfeeding well into toddlerhood, believe me I've heard all about it in parenting groups/circles etc.

The thing is though most babies wean themselves off naturally around 1 - 2 years old. So makes me wonder who it's really benefiting if they're pushed to do it longer.

I've always heard some stupid excuse like "the bond between mother and..." blah blah if you're a toddler, you should be off that shit.

The bond and also the health benefits. It's no joke that stuff is crazy healthy to the point that formula companies have been trying to replicate it for decades and the science is nowhere near what actual breastmilk provides. But there's nothing indicating that forcing them to keep doing it longer than they want to will be any healthier, and then there's the attachment issues it can create in a stage of life where they're learning their independence.

Oh I'm not against one breastfeeding; was agreeing with you about how people shouldn't breastfeed well past that age mark you mentioned.

for sure, I was just more pointing out how crazy healthy it is, I never realized until I was looking into it when Sofia was born...like they've studied breastmilk for cancer cures and shit, it's nuts.

but there's also the fact not all babies can be breastfed, some never take to it and some women just aren't able to for whatever reason. Those kids don't grow up to be serial killers or anything. Or maybe they do...

    I wasn't breastfed

I've done a mod or two
Anywhere on the 15 or 10 you should be going 10 over. I rode with another notoriously slow TW member once, someone who only does 62mph and I swear in the heart of AZ he was gonna get us both murdered driving like that. I'd have rather been naked on a motorcycle with two flat tires doing 90mph than be in a truck with him driving on the highway.

Yeah if people in the slow lane...truckers, trailers and student drivers are riding your ass then you're definitely going way too slow
