    Collision.

Hot rod shops take their time and work doing full paint jobs, restorations, etc.

Collision shops take care of repairs daily that you're wanting to deal with assuming it's for the Ferd.

I finally broke down and bought a new one. Wanted a smaller one this time around, haven't bought Craftsman in a long while but the stainless 5 gallon vac has been good. My other one was so disgusting it needed to be put down.

I'm probably due for a new one. The bearing is super noisy so I drilled a hole in the top and put 40W oil in it every now and then.

They have Craftsman branded one now?

I get it. My very first pickup truck was a '77 Datsun. It was an ugly pale green color. However, it did not have 3 carbs. lol It did sort of sing when you slammed the door shut. Similar to how "ringing rocks" sing when you pound on them with a hammer.

Funny you guys even mentioned shop vacs recently cause I had bought one just last Wednesday.

They have so many models at Home Depot, specifically Rigid variants.

I wanted portability, but power. I liked the price point of a few but they were 10 gallon models which I consider overkill in my situation.

Wasn't happy about paying nearly double for a 4 gallon model until I realized it's got a 5hp motor vs 3.5hp on the larger variants.

Holy fuck I've used it nearly every other day in the garage for cleanup since it's crazy strong.

Hmmm. My $40 18 year old one makes horrible noises on shutdown, maybe I should try that.

I can't believe it isn't dead yet. Its fallen out of a truck and been used to empty 4" of water out of a basement and sucked up so many bugs...

Yeah it used to make an angry SQUEEEEEEEE when turning off. You can take it apart and replace the bearings properly but mine was old like that so I said fuck it
