    @Kwikvette

    Dunno about your metal supplier, but the one here offers a bunch of prefab items like plates gussets and even decorative items. Reasonable prices and a huge time saver. Worth keeping an eye out for when you’re shopping

    I got over my fear of the magic smoke and connected each to ground to see if the temp gauge would move. I think I'm gonna have to add an aftermarket gauge lol

    If you're expecting more electrical gremlins, something like this sounds handy. Actual usage starts at 3:40.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDrvaeSysyk

    But how many gremlins can there be in a truck that only has a dozen wires. Right?

    Back when I used to volunteer photo work for my agent's pet adoption agency, they would tell people there was a general 3/3/3 standard with adoption. 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn your routine and 3 months to feel 'at home'. Of course it's just a generalization, and 3 months is a long time when you're dealing with that kind of extreme separation anxiety. I hope she starts to feel better soon

    Even the tool truck tap and die sets are made by Hanson. So Irwin is pretty much good as it gets till you go indistrial for tungsten shit

    Haven't been on TW much recently but I'm looking at replacing my LBJ's, has there been much talk about the Anonymous Fab uniball LBJ's? Like have people been using them?

    Guy posted about it on social media over a year and a half ago, then went silent.

    Posted again months later, then started making them available for everyone.

    Core charge for LBJ's, that and the whole thing is pretty pricey.

    Think most of us have accepted that OEM LBJs are enough.

    Unfortunately thats the risk you take with shelter dogs. Same thing happened to my sister and her husband when they got a rescue beagle. They're in a 3rd floor apartment and you could stand in the parking lot and hear the dog baying. It had to go back.

    Now they have a 12 year old obese chiweenie that's a perfect apartment dog. Damn thing can go 10-12 hours between piss breaks.

    This is why I despise automotive wiring and often times refuse to work on it. No codes, no proper colors etc. And the damn schematics make zero logical sense.

    $750 buys a lot of OEM ball joints too

    I'm probably wrong but also I think uniballs require to be greased a lot more frequently especially when exposed to winter weather conditions

    How many more wheeling trips do you gotta make before you decide it's time to upgrade the LC? :D
