I know people like to shit on Subaru, and even though mine is temporary and I certainly have plenty of personal issues with my Forester, the oil filter is in the easiest damned spot I've seen in an engine bay.

For some reason i can't stand the headlights on those. Was more a fan of the early 80s sealed beams.t

I think with these it's def personal but I like em both and open to either. I'm just into a well taken care of, low mile 240 wagon, preferably single family owned. Somewhat color agnostic but that top color I posted is niccce. So is that blue you posted. I know one is out there waiting.

The 2 wheel drives played an important role in Tacoma sales overtaking the Ranger.

It is kind of depressing, I'm down in Texas and I had to watch multiple marketplaces for 3-4 months before I finally came across my truck (wanted a manual, first gen, OG grille 4x4) and a lot of the time there is barely any price difference between the prerunners and 4x4 (by that I mean they both are heavily Toyota-taxed) since a lot of people don't care one bit. Even my best friend's dad was extremely proud of and confident in his '09 prerunner until I got my old '96 4x4 and he got tired of spinning tires trying to pull us out so he got a 4x4 fifth gen 4runner.

Very nice, but hear me out:

My Granddads Saab 900 that sat in his Florida garage through several hurricanes might make you think twice. Every inch of the inside was caked in black mold.

I'm sure you've already seen this one, but just in case you haven't: https://fayetteville.craigslist.org/cto/d/raeford-1989-volvo-240-wagon/7545311177.html

Looks like it just needs a headlight (or at least a headlight restore), some brakes, and lots of love. Also he says it needs paint so if you zero in on a color, just let 'er rip. PLUS it has billies so it's basically trail-rated.

I recently redid the AC on my 9-3 and the evaporator dripped a few oz of water onto the passenger floor mat... one week of sitting later and the entire floor mat was a solid swatch of mold. Not to mention they have almost always had leaks around the roof antennae, tail lights, door weatherstrips, etc, etc, etc

The 100 is down another rack failure. This one lasted 15 miles before it started seizing up. It might be a blessing in disguise that I can't make it.
