    I'll just use the factory doors, and use a piece of sheet metal to join them together. I can use the existing hinge at the bottom.

    Just looked at the rest of the list; wonder why he put in an FZJ rear end?

    The stock rear in a 2nd Gen is plenty stout.

    El cheapo harbor freight gun. Was a dumbass and completed the circuit with the ground and the tip of the gun via my heart. Surprised I lived. Felt awful.

    Maybe I'm talking outta my ass, but if the nipple is all that is wrong with the radiator, isn't it possible to break the nipple off the rest of the way.. file till flat against the core.. drill out, then thread to 1/8th pipe and install a brass hose barb?

    I just know I've had success doing the same thing with PA66 on a charcoal canister for a 2cyl small engine....same kinda pressure as a cooling system, so it should work? :notsure:

    Assume this - it's hard plastic, and though it looks like it may have been replaced, let's just pretend it's at least 10 years old.

    Doesn't seem like it'd be worth the hassle of doing all that, in hopes that the brass barb doesn't fall out and fail due to the questionable integrity of the plastic end tank.

    I'm all for saving some cash that's for sure, but it's only a $200 part versus a $1,200 part.

    @BartMaster1234 @Kwikvette

    You guys will like this. I’m so broke and cheap at this point of build that I’m going super off grid. Gonna do all my intercooler piping in tig’d copper cause I get it for free. Lol

    Thermal dynamics says yeah it’s better than AL. At this point I just think it will be cool as fuck and I dont think anyone has really done it before.

    I think it's because it workhardens so aggressively and cracks that no one does it
