Mine flew off the roof rack at 75mph, bounced along the shoulder of the 395 highway and still works great

the blade edge is kinda fucked up though lol

Haha that used to be a nightmare of mine. I stopped putting it on the rack, even with the dedicated attachment for it.

yeah I think I've told the story a few times on here, the Quickfist mounts failed (stupid plastic washers on them snapped) and they slid off the screws. Was a windy day too on the highway in the desert.

Got lucky no one was directly behind me and I was in the slow lane, so it flew off onto the shoulder. It went in the bed after that

Shit, yeah bed is definitely a better spot haha. Super lucky no one was behind ya. I used to put a shovel up there too and stopped. My imagination wouldn't allow it any longer.

Well that’s a good idea. Gonna be vaguely around Ponca, but on private land. Should be pretty relaxed

It took me a bit longer to get my degree. Worth it though.
Related; there was a quadruple murder just behind my old apartment just this past weekend.

Yeah I subscribe to that too. The worse / weirder something looks, the less someone else will want it. Its a good rule to follow for luggage too.

College kids? I saw that I think.

I graduated in 17, just taking lighter course loads. Less stress and more free time

Damn.....domestic dispute or what? That's crazy

When we first moved to this town 5ish years ago, this guy broke into the apartment of his ex and stabbed her and her young daughter to death. Maybe 6 or so blocks from where we live. Guy is still on the loose, fled south of the border and on the FBIs most wanted list

Luckily i am far from there these days. unfortunately its the second most incompetent ploice force ive encountered, poor families.
Its national news so you may have. I finished highschool in 2010, took until the fall of '14 to finish college and had to take summer courses to make that happen.
They say it was an isolated incident and the community isnt in danger but they dont have a suspect yet. They say they were stbbbed by a knife or am edged weapon (my mind things sword?). Sad no matter what.
