Marlin seems more of a R&D company that sells just enough to keep the lights on

I am not the biggest TG fan, they have some good parts and some junk, but I think without TG a lot of aftermarket 1st gen Tacoma and older parts wouldn't be available at all

I agree, it sucks to see small companies get bought out and merged into one, but at the same time they are keeping a big part of the aftermarket alive for these trucks (and older ones) that might not be there otherwise.

Maybe, maybe not. Inchworm was awesome, all pro was good until they moved to Montana and right before TG bought them. TG was started because the dude worked for marlin and they got in a fight about or something like that.

The reality is if you want to build a 1st gen or a mini truck your going to have to learn how to weld.

Yea but you are doing it wrong, early gen Toyotas are built with 110v flux core booger welds, not by trained people with TIG welders and stuff like that LOL

If you're playing with a second gen 4r, chances are you don't know how to read anyway

There are so many of them, and they're dog shit too (the way they're done up, etc).

And it's laughable when you see them on FB MP thinking they're gonna get the same as a 3rd Gen 4R. People especially in Fresno are CHEAP AF.

Priced out a glue laminated wooden beam to fix the saggy part of my living room floor. $1850... ouchy

But if I sink a new vertical support beam in the basement floor and fabricate a cradle on top I can order it in two pieces and cut 1/3 of the cost.... but I need a new beam to be the vertical support too.

Did they ever get their ifs LT kit shipping regularly? That's the last thing I remember reading about them. Seemed cool, in concept.

    Two hours in dentist chair.
Going to attempt to have a drink without dribbling it down my numb face.
