Good lord that's some shitty ecomm product display work lol. I've heard some of these t-shirt and sweater brands actually make pretty decent side hustle money with this template stuff though via Amazon

 

Yeah Amazon is just full of cheap template knockoffs now hahaha. I've bought a few similar junk listing hoodies (I'm actually wearing one rn hahaha) but they're made of weird t-shirt blend fabric so not the best for winter though summer is great. Trying to find hoodies with a print that are from a legit company are tough without going outside of Amazon but that's not v convenient

 

I just ordered an obvious knockoff product from eBay because I thought it was funny. A "Rapha" (real brand; fancy cycling clothes) jersey that was displayed as "Rarpha" in the renderings in the listing. I was disappointed to see that it actually said "Rapha" (in a not-quite-right font) when it showed up.

I asked for a return because the logo didn't match the listing and the seller replied that it's the "right" logo but offered to refund me 50% anyway. They'll probably still come out ahead somehow...

I figured they make enough on volume haha. I assume they make enough off of people who are frustrated and don't want to deal with returns or people giving it as a gift

they probably displayed it that way in the ad to be extra careful to avoid copyright infringement, just changing the font probably isn't enough to avoid a cease and desist if the actual company came across it, maybe

 

Hah, and Chesters are pretty cheap to begin with. I'm actually seeing some Chesters for less than the Fookers cost.

Unfortunately this jersey is a very cheap knockoff. One of my buddies summed it up as "the fabric looks like a middle-school soccer jersey".

Part of me wants to push for a full refund on principle, but the refund policy is "buyer pays shipping". If they ask me to ship it back to China I might lose money vs just taking the 50%.

 

Kinda surprising really with the big holiday season upon us, usually makes prices go up. Not complaining though it's nice for a change
