I understand that... hopefully its just shitty shingles and no compromised rafters?

The tarp worked for him for a solid 2 yrs before the wind and rain tore it up, now there shreds of it all over the neighborhood... the missus just pulled strands of it out of her cars air box when she checked the filter early this week.

If the leak made it into the structure I would think the underlayment and the plywood/osb are probably damaged at least

I left because I couldn't stand it any longer. Had a great paying job and cheap housing and tons of time off... but hated being there so I came back up here jobless and with a vague idea of where I could stay long enough to find a place of my own and couldn't be happier.

from another guys who's been here 27 years, most of it is true and necessary shade lmao

Glad to hear it all worked out, The weather and being able to escape on the weekends is what's keeping me for the time being. seems some of the growth here has slowed down as well, but the idiots remain

Big trend here too. On big, deep dish rims for extra points.

Had a copy of this saved in my DropBox.
Still one of my favorite old restos/builds. Simple, perfect.
I'd go grey wheels and tan canvas, but still.
Love to have one one day.

Too bad we get hardly any snow or I could put my K02s to use. Do they salt the roads up there? The use this mag chloride stuff here in the rare event we get snow, nasty stuff.

Get ready for a pogo stick ride, lol even my Tacoma single cab was rough, I can’t imagine one with solid axles. Must be insanely capable off road though.

It's pretty rare that they salt here but they have been known to do it during incredibly big snow storms. I would say the amount of salt on the roads here is not a threat to vehicles

    4 run, 2 don't
Yeah, I've ordered many items there including -

    Pcv valve and hose kit
    Vacuum line set
    Radiator hoses
Power steering hoses (except high pressure)
Seal driver for both the Land Cruiser and 4Runner
    Power steering rebuild kit
    Transmission and cooling hose clamps
    Radiator cap
    Power steering box emergency plug

And other misc items I'm obviously forgetting. Everything listed has already been used/installed on the LC.

I like to replace hoses and clamps associated with anything I'm repairing/replacing as I don't like reusing old stuff.

High pressure power steering line I got from Rockauto and went with a Gates model.
