Think 4.3 Chevy owners feel the same way when they look at 5.3's

Those things are the opposite; drink so much gas and offer even less power than their V8 sibling.

We have one lady at work that insists on answering emails in person, it's really strange. Like even a simple yes/no, she'll walk across the building just to tell you in person rather than email or call. Maybe it's a daily-steps thing

Oh man, a new LT 5.3 in a 3rd or 4th gen runner would be nice, toss the 10speed trans in, perfection. The 2 year only v8 in the runner makes no sense and that's exactly why it was dropped. The later interaction of the 1gr had like 10hp less than the 2UZ and was miles ahead in technology for efficiency.

Hight would be a huge selling point for me. I have bumped the top of my head a few times on the rim of the sunroof and I am 6'2. Maybe ill trade the 4r for a LC

Hey don't insult the Atlas engines. Isuzu worked as hard as they could to make sure those engines had zero support and timing components made of children's paper mache and tears.

Sounds like @Kwikvette is ready to do the swap in his garage.

I get it, though. I wouldn't be in a rush to take on that project either.

I've seen a handful of manual 4Runners around here, but they're either in rough shape or priced at an "iknowhatigot" premium. Especially if they've got a manual and an e-locker...

nevermind; not a manual... it showed up in my search and I didn't look close enough. this one actually looks okay (overpriced but not comically so, and the leather is failing, but that's normal)... but it's been up for 3 weeks so there must be something wrong with the either truck or the seller

    Are you still in Denver?

I'm too far south to be getting the real fun stuff. That's @Wulf's territory. The last snowfall has almost entirely melted away down here. It's starting to fall again now but I'm only expected to get 2-4 inches.
