They'd have to have a whole locker housing ready to put in when you ordered. The elocker third is weaker and doesn't swap in place of a 8.4

With the 03 and 04 4Runners getting the V8 makes me wonder if they were spitballing about dropping it into the 2nd gen Taco since it didn't drop until 05.

I've got a pair that @Kwikvette pulled for me in the summer heat last year just waiting for me to find the time and motivation

Is it actually a waffle house if you get what you ordered

48 hours into these flu/Covid symptoms. Better today but still had chills, headache, congestion, bad cough, and sneezing. Should’ve gotten tested today but by the time I felt up for it I realized all the rapid test places had closed.

I work around a ton of people so I just feel guilty going in tomorrow without a test. Boss has other opinions but oh well.

I need to go look at the brand. I’m super cautious about any aftermarket parts like that after the DuraGo hub issue I dealt with. I thankfully found a grandma driven 4Runner to steal a knuckle off of when a machine shop bored mine out for no reason.

I too stole mine from a junkyard 4runner haha. It's a good thing something from the 1stbgen platform is considered worthless, without 3rd gen runners I wouldn't ever find junkyard parts. Too bad too, cause I like the 3rd gens

Somehow the new belt is too loose even though it matches up with the old belt. Doesn't matter, the upper idler has since locked up. What a hunk of shit

Should be able to call up health insurance and have them send you a couple of rapid tests. Doc might also be able to Rx em and just pick up at the pharmacy. I think mine covers 4 tests kits. Speedy recovery dude.

Lol yea just changing the oil and blowing out the air filter is considered a tune up to alot of people.

Nah, usually the idler has a sealed bearing in it. I'd just swap it out when it gets extra wobbly

The white one has a heavily worn Clutch Start Cancel button and the red has it installed upside down?

That red is pretty, but it looks like they just Rustoleumed over the surface rust on the frame. Pass.

White looks good apart from the worn clutch start button and shift knob... makes me wonder what sort of shenanigans the driver was up to.

Interior is clean AF on the white one. That and the horribly faded original bug guard makes me think maybe it was grandma or the parent's car until jr. got ahold of it. Although, the shift handle is old school. Hell, a buddy of mine had one in his camaro back in the 80s. lol

The red one, hard pass. Unless ya want to get creative with the hammer testing hahaha
