What do you guys think of AAA memberships? I'm considering it for just the DMV benefits.
$56 a year.

 

Imo it's handy when you need it, but how often would you need it.

 

I paid $100 when I had my truck towed 6 miles to the Transmission shop, that pays for a year of AAA Plus so figured it's nice to have. Covers 200 miles of towing, gas, locksmith, etc etc etc.

My insurance with State Farm covers basic roadside assistance, but only to the nearest repair facility. Not one of your choosing, or even a general destination of your choosing. Plus AAA covers any vehicle you travel in, which is nice.

Honestly, the DMV benefits are the most appealing to me.

 

True, it's a good deal for sure. Just one of those things where if you don't use it just $100 less than you had for the year. But it's a nice "saftey net". I used it once so far when I locked my keys in the truck. And it was worth it to me

Can I pick your guys brains on AC? My 03, 2.4L single cab is starting to blow warm air, My second to last charge didn't seem to last long so I added the dye to find the leak, was not able to find a leak anywhere in the system in the engine bay, also didn't really see anything under the glove box. What should my next step be.

Everyone in my family has it. Sisters alternator went and she got towed. I had a flat in an ice storm and some dude came and changed it. Its payed for itself.

 

Their offices offer DMV services like license and registration renewals, title services, etc.
