No squeaks ever from my deavers. Love my deavers. Even though they get surface rust in 2 minutes of snow

yeah they really do. When mine start squeaking I hit the bushing zerks with some lithium grease and they get quiet again. They don't really squeak from between the leafs unless they're real dirty, which will happen to any leaf spring pack really. Hitting them with a high powered hose works wonders for that.

I swear you could preform open heart surgery with an angle grinder. Not gonna bother with the rest. I installed some teflon leaf liners as Im pretty sure it was the leafs that squeaked and not the bushings. 1015181458.jpg

Generally speaking, I've just come to accept the fact that a truck with aftermarket parts that sees abuse on the trails is going to have squeaks and clunks and weird sounds from time to time no matter what we do, lol. When I first got my truck, for the first several months I was obsessed with any strange sound it made that I thought wasn't normal...but that's a quick path to frustration and insanity. Nowadays I just keep an eye and ear out for anything that sounds "bad" I guess.

Doesn't really matter to me, but today driving to work I'm 90% sure a wheel bearing is going tits up now. I can hear the whirring

Nice, yeah I use mine a lot for trimming too...just used it the other day to trim a part of my IFS skid that was knocking up against the metal where the LCA bushings are. And to trim the metal and plastic on my fenders back to fit my 33s. I learned the hard way not to use a dremel when the cutting wheel flew off on me lol. Got lucky it didn't hit me even though I had eye protection on, that would've sucked.

yeah I know all about that god awful wheel bearing sound...especially when it nukes your front brakes and you have to pump them like a madman to avoid hitting the car in front of you on the freeway offramp. No bueno

I felt my hubs when I got to work to see if one was hotter than the rest but nah, they're all about normal. So there is a possibility it is the center bearing on the DS too

I could never get into NV. I picked up FO4 almost immediately. Love that game.

Fo4 is fun the first play though but after that it’s pretty boring.
    The dlc was cool.

This experience just adds to the reason why you should never buy cheap leaf springs. Now on to the other side.
