That M62 while dinky alone is way more than enough SC with a turbo on board too. Shit would get out of hand way to fast even with a smaller pulley. The stock pulley is almost too small with a turbo in there too

It's funny discovering the mistakes that the home builder made when the house was being constructed.

We used the shower above the kitchen for the first time, and it started pouring water from the lighting cans above the kitchen island. Turns out some idiot drove a 3" nail into the water main for that bathroom. The electrical panel is labelled 'LIBARI' for Library, 'FAUR' for Furnace, and 'BADROOM' for one of the guest rooms.

And my favorite one, I popped open the coaxial distribution panel and found a lone CAT5 cable/telephone wire labelled 'OVEN'.

it'll be interesting. i want to devise a way to get the air from the turbo around the lobes of the blower efficiently and possibly clutch the blower. i know it can be done. but can i do it.

we did our own plumbing and wiring (sans power distribution). every room sans the bathrooms have 4 ethernet jacks. everything is cat 6 to each room. 4 coax to each room one for direct TV and one for the antenna on both west and east walls

    Absolute Unit.

A 950 square foot, two bedroom apartment in the ParkMerced neighborhood by my school is $3,800 a month with utilities. They're old high rises built in the 60's.

i think my parents mortgage is like 2000 a month. and thats them paying a bit more to get it paid off sooner. I personally plan on a house of similar size. only difference being alot of the size will be garage/ workshop

There wouldn't be any real reason to, you want the SC on for low RPM stuff and at high RPM it's not enough of a restriction, and if you thought it was it would be easier to just out an electric actuator in place of the vacuum bypass valve and have the ECU open and close it based on RPM/Vacuum. Porting the SC would net you the most gain

I'm incredibly jealous. I toyed wiring my house with CAT6 for a while, but never got around to it. I ran my 16 Channel CCTV system with Siamese RG56 and Power cables throughout the house, never want to do that again. Running coaxial sucks. If I had to do it again, I would run a PoE system with CAT6 instead of that stupid Coaxial Siamese crap.

hmm that would work well. Is the bypass a big enough opening for a turbo to throw air in at high RPM? i really havnt delved to deep into this yet

i technically have 3 separate networks in the house. ones for the internet. one is for the surveillance and the other was suppose to be for an intercom, but that never ended up happening and they're now burried in the wall. i might dig them out to run a separate network for NAS at some point.. something not attached to the world wide web.

Yes it is a big bypass and the extra air can still blow through the rotors too giving even more flow. The computer control could be even smarter than I first described too by using multiple pressure transducers to measure the pressure at the turbo outlet and at the SC outlet then you can use the delta to chose how the bypass actuates and of course use the vacuum signal from both to make sure it's open under part throttle and idle.

We bought the house brand new from the builder in 2005, so it was still under warranty. This was around July 2005.
