Yeah, good reminder. I need to recheck those bolts for tightness. I did look at them recently and they are still on there.

What is the source of those? Do you know if they make them for a 2-bolt configuration?

 

Stage 8 locking fasteners. They have all kinds of stuff for headers and other fits. I used a 3/8 kit meant for a jeep. I'm not sure if they sell loose hardware

 

Does it make me caustic if I hardcore lowball the shit out of every one selling stuff. Guy had a 5 lug Tacoma for sale for 9k I offered 2 saying I know everything broken on it lol

 

Salvage title too. Just don’t Always hit on em. But I’ve def lowered their moral with the insulting offer

Their phone support is great, I'd give them a call if you know the fastener size you need. There's not a great search function on the web catalog haha. They stopped carrying metric so I went with the closest SAE.

To me this seems a bit sketchy.

I did put that part number into my typical websites to see what they say. While it does seem to be available some places (not from PartSouq) those places do not confirm fitment for my truck even when the vin# is entered.

They also don't actually say there are ball joints for both sides in the kit.

Definitely a legit part# (it's the recall kit). Includes both LBJs as well as cotterpins and castle nuts. One person also said it included bolts but ya all know how I feel about those. There are only two bolts as far as I'm concerned. Black w/washer (90119-10933) for use with dust protectors and ARP bolts for use without dust protectors.

Toyota of Colorado Springs has that part# in stock. I've placed multiple orders with them and have received nothing but quality.

Interesting. I'm pretty sure bolts on my thorley headers are metric. For sure, the nut is welded on the back side so there would be no way to swap to SAE.

 

Ahhh shit. I had no problems because the DNA headers don't have welded hardware lol

McMaster has lock wire bolts like these. I'm sure they're a pita to wire in the engine bay but you only ever have to do it once haha
