Oh yeah I almost forgot, so my co workers sister car wouldn’t start today so he asked if i can jump it. Said sure, when i got there the battery looked bad but we tried anyway. Nothing happened, so we got a new battery but that didn’t help. So i knew it was the negative lead on the battery because that wire looked like it had come off the titanic so i just twited and held it with my had then boom car started and she left after i told them lets just fix it. I guess she made it home though with no problem because she never called back

Sorry, I typed that half asleep this morning. I had to leave at the bright and early hour of 9 AM to make it to Sacramento in time for the Performance shop to open.

Yes - I know that's not early. But I'm used to waking up somewhere in between 11 AM to 3 PM.

They are 2.5 Icon Front Coilovers and Rear Shocks. I had the fronts rebuilt since they are original (about 10 years, many many miles) - but the rears are relatively new at only a couple thousand so I didn't bother. I meant to say SPC Upper Control Arms, not coilovers. The shop I brought it to didn't rebuild UCA's anyway. I am fairly certain I can do it myself.

As for a writeup @JKO1998, I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm just doing things one step at a time. I'm still writing that 4WD conversion writeup - from like six months ago.

About a month ago. My lift will consist of:

    • ICON 2.5 Coilovers
    • ICON Rear Shocks
    • SPC Upper Control Arms
    • AllPro 2.5 Standard Leaf Springs
    • Greaseable Rear Shackles
    • All of my life savings thus far

The Grace of God, and YouTube.

Seriously. You think I had a goddamn clue on how to remove a transmission when I did my 4WD swap?

I just started removing shit until the lil' bugger came out. The biggest mechanical thing I've ever done prior to my 4WD conversion was change brake pads.

Surprisingly my State University tuition is cheaper than my private Elementary school tuition for some odd reason.

I've had a college fund, and got a small scholarship so it's no issue for me.

well then, perhaps I should be paying you to do the axle seal and brakes instead of the local dealer. I've been watching timmy's axle seal vid and honestly, after the first 20 mins I laughed. No way I'm going to do that job.

Front or rear? The front is an absolute cakewalk - took me 10 minutes per side.
