    Hey the engine was made by international Navistar :luvya:

    That said they really screwed Ford with the 6.0 and 6.4l engines

    you're telling me, especially after I did so for over 2 years here. They actually renewed our office lease during COVID when everyone was working from home. I'm working on it. Unfortunately I'm chronically low on spoons so I'm kind of cornered til something changes

    I'm month and a half into trying to get full-time work from home as a medical accommodation. They're really dragging ass on approving it

    The big bonus of WFH is you can pretty much vacation on the clock or do other shit as long as you get your work done on time

    I can definitely see the perks, I just don't think I could do it, no social n stuff.

    but my dad did it for like 20 years, and now he works for the same company I do, doing IT

    The hard part for sure is not having the built in social stuff. That said I'm the youngest one on my team and the only one not married so we don't have much in common besides making small talk about Netflix lmao

    For some reason that made me think of this...Some guy had an old, what looked to be fully restored, drop top GTO or Cuda. Something like that anyway, big ol body with that little bump in the body line, I don't know anything about old American muscle, but in that vein. He was driving it around the beach here, nice sunny day, it wasn't quiet, good growl to it, but it wasn't crazy annoying like some clapped midnight Civic. My neighbor, an older woman, close to 70 I think, walks out and talks to the guy and he pulls off. She later told me that she told him she had her 90 year old mother living at home and she was in bed afraid of the noise from his car so could he please stop.
    She doesn't have a 90 year old mother let alone one that lives at home.
    She explained it to me smiling, like I was going to agree with her about the guy, "Who kept revving his car up and down the street."
    (He went down the street once)
    I simply said, "I love that noise and I'm going to miss it when everything is electric."
    That ended that. And I meant it.
    But it has made me think since, and because this is a resort beach town, we get so many fucking idiots you can hear coming from far away...from supercars to bikes to shitboxes....I do think I might even miss those 3am assholes when every fucking car just no longer makes any noise at all.

    @Blue92

    Went to buy 1 sheet of 16 gauge, and paid for 1 sheet. My dude gave me 2 sheets of 16 gauge (4' x 4') and 2' x 4' of 3/16 I needed for shock mounts :yay:
