Well, order placed with Solidworks. They were fast to confirm my eligibility.

Weird thing is I never had the 'option' to choose download or DVD, and since the Mil version is only in DVD I bought it as needed.

Cart after check out says Download variant is what I bought.

I'll give it a day and if no link appears (checking both spam boxes) I'll assume a DVD is coming out my way.

Not so much a rant, just surprised they use DVD's since most PC's don't even have bays for a disk drive of any sort.

That and I'm bored cause I don't have to do anything until Sunday; kind of early to start drinking no?

Naw, I've got an old PC with a disk drive in the garage.

Got a referral for another side job, and it's to build a gate or a fence or something.

Apparently the customer is a welder from back in the 80's so all he knows is stick, and he's too old to do shit (according to him). We'll see how that goes.

I didn't realize how much people really spend on a lot of that stuff; and the guys that do this for a living just have a ton of iron bent to shape or whatever ornamental stuff they use.

Reminds me of the light poles and city signs I made a year and a half ago -

Except that was all aluminum, and their ornamental shit is cast cause they melt and pour their own stuff. All I did was cut everything and weld it.

I liked that Jatoba brown. Such a weirdo color, but I still like, especially with a light interior.

Apparently filling up your gas tank before it hits half a tank is common? I don't understand why

I get filling it up before it gets super low, like light coming on....but why fill up every half tank, just seems weird to me

I only do that if we're on a road trip and I know there's a substantial stretch before the next gas station comes up

I fill at 1/4-1/3 tank. On one hand it's probably overkill

On the other hand if you have time to fill up now it's almost always more convenient than filling up when you're in a rush or have an emergency come up

I only stick to that when we have a possible hurricane coming simply because things can change quickly. I don't normally wait until the light comes on or anything though if I can help it.
