Dex was so totally in his element today I legit felt guilty making him leave

Kept bolting around, jumping and sticking his head in the snow looking for critters lol

Took a service road a ways up the mountain and it was pure mud, slush and snow, 4runner did great in 4wd for the first time. @Speedytech7 the tires are awesome, zero complaints. Aired them down and had no issues sliding around in the snow or mud. Trucks all around us spinning tires, Do recommend.

We got about 2 miles up the trail then ran into a bunch of traffic behind a stuck 5th gen 2wd 4runner that was stuck hard and couldn't move, said fuck it and turned back. Hung out in the valley below instead

Weird issue with the 4runner coming home, in 3rd/4th gear it would sometimes not respond to throttle input at all until a good 5 seconds after holding the throttle down. Almost like a slipping clutch but the rpms weren't hardly going up. Like it was rev limited momentarily to 2.5k or so. Happened less as we got closer to home but was weird.

Snow ain't sticking, but it's been heaven for a lot of people driving a few minutes North East of me; ton of snow there and people are wheeling, etc.

    Roads around there got plowed.

See my last post, we went out today. The snow has blanketed the entire town below the Cajon Pass, never seen it that low here before.

Came back from checking out a referrals home.

Going to one, fix his trailer. Cut off these large tabs, cnc cut a new set that are smaller, and weld on a latch as a "catch". Trailer doors can't open parallel to the side walls due to the over sized (and bent) tabs.

Second thing is he wants a gate which I've got measurements for now. The gates his brother did look good from 15' but man the welds were atrocious

It'll be a sliding gate so will have to figure out mounting. Thinking C channel with a wheel that will ride inside it?

I have a flagstone planter that is falling apart. I haven't touched it because I don't really have an interest in masonry and have spent a year wondering how well some plain old construction adhesive would hold it together. Turns out they make a masonry adhesive that I could have been using this whole time if I had looked into it.

Also ordered some wildflower seeds to motivate me to fix it. I'm not a gardener but if I can get some no maintenance stuff to grow maybe the house won't look so dumpy from the curb lol
