Definitely looking a bit better. I agree butt welding thin stuff sucks though, and if your fitup isn't good it sucks even more

Thanks. It helps with the larger diameter pipe too - I can do longer sections at a time. Individual sections look really good like 70% of the time now, it's just when I need to lift that visually it looks screwy since I'm never 1:1 on the pattern

Welding exhaust is one of my favorite things if there's overlap. It's one of my least favorite if it's butt welds... Then I get the urge to pull out the tig machine and I'm not even that good with that.

If I can continue to guarantee these good, sanded joints I can probably try TIG the next time around. It's just kinda a pain with 1. Switching and 2. Scratch start and 3.Tack welds. So like Kwikvette I kinda want a machine for each process lol

But hey I'm just happy I'm not burning holes every other pipe anymore haha

Yeah honestly unless it's a good multi process machine it's not worth having a multi-process machine. High frequency Tig is a real treat to use and like I said I'm not even that good and it makes me look like I know what the fuck I'm doing. If I actually knew what the fuck I was doing it would look even better and then people might even pay me to weld haha.... But seriously scratch start, nah, throw that shit away

Going to be honest with the both of you, I don’t even know how the sport works. I just watch it because it’s a good time with friends.

It’s funny, I shoot NCAA sports for a television network and I don’t even know how half of the games are played.

I’m doing a few baseball and softball series until May and I couldn’t tell you how those games work either. I know baseball has a bottom of the ninth and three bases, and that’s about it.

Sportsball is all the same, sportsobject goes in the goal. Sportspeople try to stop sportsobject from going into goal. Most sports goals wins the sports tourney

We're getting hit tonight/tomorrow with another biggun, saying Big Bear will get up to 5ft+ of snow

They're doing some massive forest and trail closures too thru mid summer for most areas down here, aside from the desert
