1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I've been authorized to tell you all that it's starting to go down for @Kwikvette, Steph isn't having labor yet but it sounds like it's about to happen, same thing happened with my wife...water broke but contractions didn't start for another day so the whole process took about 48+ hours. I doubt he'll be on here much during it all but send good vibes their way

 

Wow, congrats to them! Someone wanted to show up to the party early it seems haha. Hope all is well.

 

Yeah we were told first kids usually arrive later than expected but then were surprised 2 weeks early

 

Just got a call from him. Hopping it all goes well!

 

I suppose like most things, you can have an idea and a plan but nature is going to stick to its own schedule.

In fact, she was about to be discharged and her blood pressure suddenly went up

I genuinely believe the relief of going home was what got her excited but now another hour of monitoring

Really thinking he won't come until tomorrow but if they keep toying with the idea of getting discharged, she might get annoyed enough to say fuck it

 

No contractions at all either nor has the water broke at all

 

Yeah we got bounced back home twice until contractions came at a certain rate, almost decided to just wait in the parking lot rather than make Rebecca endure another ride home, every tiniest bump she was screaming at me to slow down lol.

Y'all thought you were gonna see the miracle of birth instead you got the DMV waiting room 30mins before close. I'd sue the kid, real world sneaks up on ya fast anyway.

 

Lol was this with the tacoma? She doesn't mind the land cruiser.

When they said another hour, I rushed home to fill up her car with gas, threw our packed bags in, and head back.

In honor of this we had Dave's Hot Chicken when we got back from the desert today and suffice to say I was dilated within the hour.
