I guess if it sits too long, I had that happen on my old scion way back when and it never fully removed the stains. But it was stuck on there for awhile before attempting to clean it

The good thing about SpaceX doing the testing is that it will cost taxpayers less in the end, if NASA were doing it all on their own we'd be footing that bill

but yeah, imagine having that kind of money to just throw at building spaceships to blow up for experimental purposes lol.

I used a MAP gas torch for preheat lol. We've got oxyfuel here but bossman doesn't want to buy another setup for the new shop so I'm seeing how well I can do with limited resources

One good thing with oaks is they don't drop that. Tons of leaves, pollen and catkins, which are the worst part. They looks like below and build up and find their way into everything.

    4 run, 2 don't
Only reason why I don't own it is because of the initial expense.

My 150 CF bottle cost me $300 full when I first bought it, fortunately it's only $57 to fill each time.

Only reason why I have a second one is because I bartered for it.

Even in the used market people are asking over $500 for both tanks. Would hate to see what it costs new especially since I don't expect to use it more than twice a year or so.

Good luck. My buddy is looking for the exact same thing in the same area currently. No luck going on 4 months now. Thats where everyone wants to move to. If you dont mind a drive, Daleville is another option to the north. Or Rocky Mount on the south side.

Right? I saw someone comment that going to the investors must be interesting. We need XX amount of money to build the ships but by the way we need XX more because we have to blow a bunch up first during testing.

    Damn that's lowkey redneck genius.

I did put the manifold in the toaster oven at max temp to try and release heat stress points lol. Don't know if it actually did anything but my instinct said better safe than sorry

It's going to be pretty crazy to see what we're doing with space travel and shit in the next few decades. I mean, assuming we don't end up pressing the hard reset button on ourselves between now and then and ending up back in the Stone Age

Oof, that's rough. Thanks for the heads up. I was hopeful given how many houses for rent we've seen

Yeah I think it'll be cool to see. As much as I enjoy seeing everything the industry is up to and the cool stuff that might be coming...if space tourism becomes relatively convenient I still don't have an urge to hop on a ship for a tour. I think I'd be super claustrophobic. Luckily we're a long way off from that reality but it's a "what if," that's popped in my head.

oh man I would totally do it, but only if tickets get down to normal airline pricing and not the $50million they are anticipating it will cost for a flight into orbit lol.

I think just the "standard" up/down prices that celebrities are doing is like 250k
