Was listening to my morning radio show and they were talking to girls about "the J-name theory", where a lot of women apparently have the belief that any dude who's name starts with a 'J' is automatic asshole and should be avoided

I missed the game cause we were camping Sat night, but kind of what I expected to happen deep down. At least it seems it was a good fight at 5-4, unlike last year when they shut us out to win the series ending game.


Can't believe Boston lost the series to Florida though, holy shit. Just goes to show that dominating over the regular season means little to nothing in the playoffs


And Seattle took down the reigning champs, crazy first round

The game was good and they were definitely in it but that 1st goal by McDavied st the tone of the game. Always chasing.

Boston if proof that you never want to be the president's trophy winner. It's definitely a curse. Can you imagine if Florida nocks off Toronto next.

 

been there when the battery in ours went bad. We actually keep the sound off on it anyway because her bedroom is just down the hall and was always easy to hear her. Don't need it right in our ears


doesn't matter anymore though because she will just walk right into our room and let us know what's bothering her now

 

We got the Owlet sock last week. I sleep a lot better (when I get to sleep) my phone will wake me up if there is anything wrong.

 

oh yeah that reminds me, and Toronto actually got past the first round. Definitely a crazy playoff year

I think the President's trophy just instills over-confidence in the winner and makes them vulnerable to the other team's will to win

 

And Florida has had to play playoff hockey for the last 2 months (like LA In 2012) and Boston was playing on cruse mode.

 

Wasn't Florida the President's Trophy winner last year and everyone thought they'd go far, then they got bounced in the first round?

Yeah they were dominant. Same thing happened to Vancouver a few seasons back.

Yeah I think that's definitely true with the NHL which makes it more fun to watch imo. Other sports like NFL and baseball, the teams you expect are usually the ones to make it to the very end. Especially in MLB where there is no salary cap. The team with the most money buys themselves a dynasty for years....boring

 

I mean...there can't be that many forums for that thing.

It's funny how much money the Dodgers and Yankees spend and the both have problems winning the world series. The dodgers may be better off this season just because they aren't made up of an all-star team. They have young kids who want to prove themselves.

 

tbh I don't watch baseball at all really lol. Not since I was a kid and had friends that did, I just can't get into the slow pacing of the games. A good friend of mine is a huge baseball fan and tries telling me it's like chess but I just don't see it

 

But will it shock and vibrate when you mess up? Kids these days don't know the level of anxiety the game Operation instilled in so many of us
