Sad part is, I probably wouldn't sell it for less than $13k. Sounds high, but hard to find a "low" mile truck that has had all OEM/Factory parts and hyper regular maintenance...

It's been long enough since we've talked I don't know if you've heard but I'm moving up in the company and the owner is opening up a brand new location for me on the east coast. Hopefully in the next 3-5 yrs I'll be making operation decisions and moving to be part owner






Or the current owner will continue to make poor business decisions and I'll be starting a new company picking up his old customers lol

Glad to hear it! Always good to hear when people are doing well for themselves. Offer still open for PLC/SCADA/BMS folks like yourself. Like you, I got out of the Auburn/Kent valley ASAP. Not sure if the east coast is better, but I'll leave that up to you.

Fuck, I've fought myself sooooo many times (since we last talked) about taking you up on your offer. Honestly I still really want to, but I'm settling into the domestic lifestyle currently and I'm not too confident the missus would be cool with moving as much as you're required to

 

I did the same on my abused 300K+ 99. Only gasket that’s failed again in the last 20K was the rear main. It was like Felpro brand or something and the only aftermarket gasket. Never intended the truck to still be driving in 2023 and the ~$40 OEM seal pissed me off back in 2019. Now I’d happily buy OEM every time, even for a shitbox.

 

That's a lesson you can't teach, it has to be learned through pain haha
