I don't understand how they would drive that truck. I wouldn't even want to sit in the passenger seat.

Yup probably, it's a double cab too but they just sat their box on the back seats.

 

Call me old but my 04 still has the factory radio and speakers...cassette player and single CD and all...and it's just fine by me.

Edit: I do miss Bluetooth sometimes though

 

I still rock the factory system. My Avalon has a cassette and6 disc player factory too. All I did in that was focal plug and play speakers. Sounds really good. Probably going to do just door speakers in the taco too

Very first thing I did was change out the old radio and paper speakers to a Kenwood DDX373BT and Rockford-Fosgate P16's. Massive improvement in sound quality.

The Kenwood is fancy, you can watch movies on it.

 

I ditched the stock radio in only a few months after I got it. I still have an Alpine in it, sounds way better with just the HU & stock speakers. The Alpine is old, from the early 2000s so no bluetooth. I added a bluetooth module to it, no bluettoth controls from the radio but good enough for me.

I just replaced the speakers last month. Sounds a bit better just off HU & inline amp power but wasn't really worth it to me except the fact that I had one blown speaker & one blown tweeter. The stock speakers weren't too bad sound wise.

 

I have never been bothered to watch a movie on mine lol

 

Me neither. It's just a fun feature to have.

If i had a 05+ i would of bought the kenwood that connects to the ecu and gives readouts lol

 

My wife does on mine during trips out of town.
