Didn't get to know. People just heard an explosion and what sounded like gunfire and took pictures from their apartments. One burned up on a trail a while back but didn't hear the reason. Being a wound in the Toyota community, I'll never hear the truth.

You got the true southern spirit lol

I didn't expect so many people to crack open a breakfast dew or Dr pepper when I was working in Oklahoma but it was pretty common

Shit is scary though; one sec you're on the trail stopped to check your map and the next your rig is up in flames.

Then again I'm surprised it doesn't happen much more often (or at least hearing about it) with more and more lights and accessories flooding the market. I've seen a ton of nasty wiring hack jobs in the stereo community alone....can't imagine the overlanders doing a much better job themselves especially trying to do stuff on the cheap.

Yeah, I looked around and those seemed to have good quality. Rock auto actually had for best price. $290 shipped for both and they fit perfect. No issues.

Nice, I got the Depo ones for the 80 series and was pleased to find that they're glass and quite well focused.

Oh shit, yeah, big difference. Like the roundness on outside. That thing is clean. I compared to the oem ones and there wasn't much diff honestly. Similar weight, seal seemed good. Mount tabs seemed slightly more sturdy on oem but if you don't break them installing that really isn't an issue.

When someone asks me how I got that part off and I use golf lingo like "you gotta play a slice".
