Sheeesh. I’m renting for $1200 a month. The house across the street that is almost identical has an asking of $1795. My landlord must really like me.

 

Fuck, that's cheap.

 

It’s the price of living in Missouri I guess. I think some of these landlords are pretty optimistic even at these prices - the place across the street has been vacant for months.

 

Funny that everyone that's seen my garage makes a comment about it it lets light through but people can't see in!

Yup, well the beach just north of Leo Carrillo. It's the only dog beach in all of Malibu, only other dog beaches in LA are further south in the nasty urban beach areas. Malibu is scenic at least

After utilities I’m at $1800 a month. Don't you have a garage? $1200 is a steal for a house with a garage these days. Your landlord probably likes that you're not a crackhead.

 

Even for CA, it's cheap where we live

 

Love that part of Malibu, Monica and I got married at Zuma. It was her dream location. I'm not a fan of the South Bay beaches or the cesspool that is Santa Monica.

We went over to Zuma after cause it was easier for her mom and aunt to get there, the dog beach had a real steep and narrow switchback trail they didn't want to risk. But yeah as much as I dislike the elitist Malibu vibe you get from the people that live there, the beaches there are soooo much better than anywhere else in LA. In fact I think we were far enough north to be in Ventura county at that point

 

If that were true it'd be hilarious.
