I loved that van so much, bought it for 1k cause the owners couldn't get it started. When I first bought it I was living out of a dead 96 econoline in a buddies yard. Rode the bus over to van, diagnosed the problem as electrical. They were hard up on money so agreed to take 600 deposit and I'd be back to pay em the rest.

Week later, next paycheck, bought a new battery and rode the bus again to the van. Paid the rest of what I owed, signed the title. When they asked when the tow truck is getting there, I paid em 20 bucks for an hours worth of time in their driveway. It wasnt just the battery, basic wiring harness issues as well. Fixed it and drove away lol.

Before i drove off, They said if I ever wanted to sell it they'd buy it back for 1500. Ahhhh back in the days when craigslist was useful

I set it to 15 base plus whatever the factory vacuum advance is. Also had to retune the carb, it was tuned to keep the engine running at 550rpm with that timing.

Got it to idle around 900-1000 rpm and it's much smoother and happier sounding lol

The Maxxis optiond are the same price for 15 and 17" wheels, yes. If I bought another set I could kick this 17" wheel decision down the road another 17 years lol

Just took the thickness, and put a relief cut at half that measurement to make up the radius bend

    Perfect fit

Welded in a rear "stop" which can also be used to hit with a mallet or hammer for driving in said holder

7months old and happy as can be. And damnit if dog food doesn't seem to be climbing in price.

I've seen people that live in historical preservation neighborhoods use something like this to provide details about the house.

Not a good text example. If someone wanted to put a slate sign in one and place it in their yard.

To mark anything really, for sure!

I post stuff like that here in case anyone would want to make a request for something.

I like to not limit myself to just 'truck parts' and try to make a bit of anything and everything.

Where have you been looking? The ones I was finding were still pricey. Sorta gave up on that and thinking GX is next for me.
