That moment you realize it's time to feed the little one, it's 11pm, you're halfway down another beer, and notice you've got bottles to wash in order to make tonight's feedings go smoothly :bananadead:

That's when you panic buy more bottles right so you don't have to do any for like a week

    Ugh...so true

He's growing quick so it won't be long before he's done using these since he eats between 3.5 to 4oz per feeding -

    20230614_225213.jpg

We received bigger bottles as part of the baby shower but these are quicker to wash

    Ready-made formula ain't cheap either

Yeah you kind of played yourself on that one, if you would have just named him Kyle like I suggested then all you'd have to do is provide one room temperature monster energy every 4 hours.

I remember making up 6 full-size bottles in the morning and putting them in the fridge to use throughout the day. At one point, we were using bottles with a disposable plastic bag that held formula.

@CS_AR what do you think of Nissan’s KA24 engine?

I wouldn't call it suspicious and it's not illegal. Just people playing beach bum for a little bit. We've had to call before, on a guy living out of a nasty old Buick, but he was using the curb as a toilet every night and cat-calling women who were walking by. So fuck him. People in the camper setup just get their beach gear out of the trailer they pull and go enjoy the weather and surf etc. There are more assholes here on any given weekend than that, rednecks who leave coolers and garbage and empties all over the place for example, like they don't wanna drive home with anything left in their pickup beds. Or frat bros who bring boomboxes and blare shitty music and ruin everyone else's time.

A sweet little engine in its day and helped to power the S-chassis drifter movement. A few 510s run them. I remember the KA24DET (turbo) was popular with the drift clubs in SoCal as well as the SR20DET

With some help from Jim Wolf Technologies to enhance a truck engine, it could run with SR20DETs.

I have a fondness for Nissan engines from the 90s (pre Renault takeover). Lots of "over the top engineering" without regard to cost. The bean counters finally caught up with them.

Thats fair.. and thanks for reminding me I don't wanna be in VA Beach lol.

My middle brother is getting ready to retire from the army and he and his wife are probably going to move to your town because she "just has to have a beach"

Lol I used to say it's worth it because of the off-season, but the off-season seems to be shrinking down to nothing! So she better really want the beach. And hopefully they can swing something within walking distance, otherwise that beach she enjoys is just going to be a headache every time she wants go, when it's warm at least. You either stress yourself out finding a metered spot at the south end, and pay to play, or you head to the north and play the lottery on a place to park and try to not get in an argument haha. Good middle ground is inland just off the beach and buy a golf cart to cruise over. There's a lot here though for someone who has retired, so I get it.
I've also been eyeing spots on the eastern shore. Some trade-offs, but a world of difference in peace and quiet while still being on the water.
