    A couple of buds have them with the 4.7. I would like to drive one someday.

    I haven't been in one either. They're one model that you can still find a decent prices, makes later ones tempting.

    Carriage bolts work in a slot no? Slots should be easy peasy with a plasma table

    Not if you're being lazy and refused to drive to Fastenal to buy some and figure out a tighter fitment for them and all that jazz :laughing:

    They should've put that motor in a Sentra, gotten rid of the Juke altogether, and marked up the Sentra a bit more and it still would've been more successful.

    Stuff. Also things.
    Honestly, I assumed that the smog requirements would preclude even the possibility. I’m in Boulder County, which is probably the worst place to be for that, but maybe I’m making some bad assumptions. I know the single cab SC guy with a billion miles on his truck is somewhere on the Front Range, so maybe it’s not such a big deal.

    @Speedytech7

    Remember, running colder plugs reduces the chances of detonation since you're boosted :evil:

    Don't forget the Scatpack; not all 400 credit score drivers want to own an Altima

    The biggest hangup with the aftermarket ECU is that you have to pass the OBD2 code check which means it's unlikely you'll pass without running a stock ECU :/

    As far as the smog test itself goes I've never had AirCare CO pop the hood or look underneath so I bet you could pass the roller/tailpipe test with a clean tune.

    I think they did a nismo version with a manual. I really found it to be pleasant when I sat in on many moons ago. Glad I went with abrz instead but the juke seemed like a descent car if you wanted something sporty, manual and cheap on gas.

    I was more thinking like the little steel umbrellas the oil pan/skid plate uses but I can see how that would throw off measurements if you already cut them

    I'm pretty sure that guy you are talking about has said he goes to the trouble of putting everything back to stock every two years to be able to pass inspection. I have no idea if that means a visual or a functional inspection though. We are fortunate here because WA stopped those silly things a few years ago.
