Other than the Cal Petersen contract he's done pretty well. And he rectified that.

Friend sent me a low mile manual trans tcase off his parts truck. But he shipped it in one layer of cardboard so it’s pretty ruined now. The keys are floating around inside and the output flange took a super hard hit.

Oh well. I tried to save it from his scrap pile. @Area51Runner Maybe I give a rebuild a shot on this one though…

That's a pretty good haul mileage wise. Seems like y'all are attentive and catching stuff on the truck before it goes too sideways and causes collateral damage

I haven't found where mine leaks but I have to top up the coolant take once a year or so lol

 

FedEx? I shiped a tcase to Washington State last month. I put it in a trash bag then shrunk wrap it and packed it in a box with packing. Then put it in another box with more packing and extra cardboard for support and it's still looked like shit when it got there. Fortunately nothing broke. I feel for you.

Yeah FedEx. One of those things where I should’ve bugged him to insure it for more. J-shift cases for our trucks are getting up there in the miles so this one was exciting.

 

Hopefully something on it is salvageable. I am switching to ups for big stuff. USPS has been way more reliable lately than anything else but they have a low weight limit.
