I always wonder how accurate that is. Like, as acurrate as a mechanic logging your service history? Eesh

It's a required un-named submittal for hospitals and healthcare professionals. Unlike the mechanics they all have to participate, but there could of course be error in diagnosis.

Ya I think that's really the biggest issue there, and it's not like there's any oversight or correction. Anyway, doesn't matter all that much

I mean yeah I'd probably get a second opinion if I lived where you do. You don't live down there with doctor money unless you're not very good haha. But in general mental illness are harder to get accurate diagnoses on given the general stigma and the necessity for the patient to represent their symptoms accurately and not downplay or overplay them.

Imagine all those undiagnosed and in denial of having a mental illness.

My sister is proof of that :bananadead:

Then you get into what's an "illness" if we're all fucked up in the head to varying degrees

Lol no denial, just funny when you grow up thinking the way you think is normal and every year realizing the divergences from you, and then thinking maybe you're the divergent one, but is that a problem or more ideal?

True, that's a huge grey area in itself

But a lot of people go undiagnosed cause their upbringing taught them that seeing a psychiatrist, or therapist, etc or admitting you have such an issue was taboo and you just "suck it up"

People around our age are kind of the last of those people as a whole, but that mentality is still trickling down some future generations

What helps is media in general has really brought awareness, but you still have a lot of naysayers unfortunately

Sounds more like narcissism or antisocial personality disorder haha. Or nothing if you hadn't added that last question.

Some, mostly in the states noted above are the most likely to be handed down shitty upbringing like that
