Ahh, the room that's only 3 or so degrees warmer (warmest room in the house) is a spare bedroom that's unoccupied. It's only the warmest cause it has large windows -

    20230710_165354.jpg

Even the nursery is the same temp as the living room which is awesome.

Dual pane windows, tons of insulation in the walls as well as the attic, all make it really efficient to keep cool.

*and less shared walls, but ya I'd love a new build and mine's only 25 years old. Fuckers didn't even insulate the attic above this room

I only found that the attic was heavily insulated when I not only went up there myself, but when my neighbor (who does commercial and residential network/security installs) said it's way better compared to nicer larger homes he's been in.

I'm not really all that knowledgeable with that sort of stuff.

Think I need to do the brakes on the Runner, around town it's ok but higher speed braking it starts to shudder like a motherfucker. Perfect just in time for my road trip up to Santa Cruz this Friday.

Funny you say that, same here.

Brake pads have life, but the rotor is warped and you can feel it so gotta replace rotors and pads :bananadead:

I have to drive up right after I leave work early on Friday, not sure if I'll have the chance to do a pad and rotor job before then. Unless I do it after work one of these nights if Rebecca is alright watching Sofia.

Gonna try and do it Thursday after work since they are flying up Thursday afternoon, will give me a free evening

    @amyracecar

Went to buy formula, figured I'd buy some blueberries and milk cause I was craving blueberry muffins.

    20230710_171734.jpg

Pro tip, utilize part of your flour mixture to coat your berries and put them back into the freezer until ready to use. This ensures your berries don't bleed out and color your batter when you finally mix them in.

    20230710_171738.jpg

About ready to bake them when I realize I have cupcake liners and not muffin liners

We'll see how it goes but I think they're gonna come out all weird.

Hmm I just revisited the listing you sent me for this and he says he did the pads and rotors about 10k ago, hope it's not the calipers. Guess a brake job is easy and cheap enough to do to rule that out

Or maybe they weren't bedded in properly, and they got warped?

Could be, I did that with the Tacoma and they've had a shudder as well for years lol. But not nearly as bad as this one on the Runner, thank god for downshifting or my teeth would rattle out on the highway

    Eh, could be better.

Next time I'll make sure I have the smaller muffin liners.

What he means is, can you hook him up (don't have to be new) since you get so many free parts.

A freeloader and stingy damn :luvya:

They're the same shape but I think cupcakes are just larger and use more batter whereas muffins use less and rise more. There's baking powder in muffins.

Dang I'm craving fruit pie now with peaches....not much of a yogurt guy but that does sound good.

Had the same issue with my 4runner. New rotors and pads fixed it right up.
