This recent interest rate drop has increased my house's value even higher, after a brief dip. It's crazy here. I could move to a rural dream lot in TN and *make* money

 

Man, all the girls went to a spa day in Carmel and left me and grandpa with Sofia and my 4 month old nephew, today's gonna be fun

 

A conventional loan only requires 3%, that's what I did.. Just sayin

 

I don't know his whole situation, but figured he could've just been saving and put that money down.

Closing costs alone could be between $5-10k though too.

They normally go to OR or TX; OR is adopting a lot of dumb CA shit and TX well....who would willingly living in that humid arm pit?

 

Ya I guess I was lucky and got the seller to pay closing. Pretty sure it's easy to roll it into the mortgage though and still just go with the 3%

 

Maybe; we just paid the down and whatever required closing then again this is our first home with a mortgage. My other house was paid cash.

 

The houses are so criminally close together you can touch stucco that is yours and stucco that isn't yours at the same time... also they all look the same and changing that usually ends up in a HOA fine, owning a house there is really just renting a house from an HOA body for full price.

 

And I'm sure each state has their own programs for certain groups of people depending on your status, etc.

For instance, TX has a lot of pro-veteran programs for all sorts of shit.
