Killing time at this point

Was going to bend up and weld another set of stiffeners until I noticed I had a dead pigeon on the roof

At first I was like...wtf is it just tucked in on itself until I noticed it slightly on its side so I texted my neighbor if he could bring over his big ladder

Had to weld some rod long enough to "hook it" and put it in a bag, only to go over to his garage, drink a few beers, shoot some pool, and remember I was doing work in my garage so I'm back again

Stephanie and Theo are at my MIL so I'm just chilling

Lol, dramamine is a must for people who aren't used to it, if not something stronger. Anyone chartering should have it on board but sadly many just don't.

 

Sounds like a productive day.
We were going to clean the house today. I put the 1st episode of Hijack on (apple TV) we are on episode 6 now and nothing has gotten done.

 

You can tell he's done this before cause he doesn't look shocked once he was done

 

Yesterday I was supposed to work in the garage and none of that happened so I made up for it today

Haven't seen Hijack but we just started the first episode of Cabinet of Curiousities or something.

It's like The Twilight Zone and Tales from the Crypt all in one.

 

@Speedytech7 Friend at Beemer is getting an X1 M35i in from an allotted dealer stock order so I can at least drive one. But the fuckin Mini Countryman with the B48 is the same chassis, better transmission, suspension, more custom interior specs and basically same HP (10hp difference) for thousands less. Kinda tempting before Mini goes full electric.

 

Cabinet is so good. del Toro never lets down.

 

Back home after 2069 miles in a week. Pretty sure my leafs are toast, but other than that all went well. Even averaged 18.6 mpg with this.m monstrosity.

Dramamine screws me up so much. I've had success with straight ginger root candies, the wife can eat raw ginger but I have to at least soak it in sugar for me to eat it lol

 

I am a massive fan of that cap setup you've got. You have quite the constitution to take that many miles in a reg cab lol

 

We’ll see if they recover after I take the box off and all the crap out. Even then, I think they’re on their way out.


I’ve done a lot of miles in that cab (50k since aug 2018) and it seems to fit me really well, i can sit in there all day. Gf seems to be the same.
