You guys know hood scoops aren't usually air intakes right. They're usually airflow for a hot engine bay or airflow over an intercooler

You know the difference between a rich hillbilly and a poor one?

A poor hillbilly has a old truck, up on blocks out beside his shack. A rich hillbilly has two (or more).

I thought they were the air intake for some cars, but I don’t really have any idea.

I can't think of any that are unless we're talking shaker hoods or sometimes air ram hoods which are rare now

There’s a company that makes air ram hoods for 3rd gens, that’s what I was thinking.

Clean, sure but HOAs around here are like the Stepford Wives club. A friend used to live in an ALL BROWN neighborhood. Seriously, all the houses were brown. She was an airforce wife, whose husband was killed in a training accident, ended up re-marrying another fly jockey, and they got warnings and/or fined for having the US Flag out on *not* Vet's Day, for not bringing their trash cans in on time, and they had other rules like you weren't allowed to plant things in the back yard that grew taller than the fence. Since the neighborhood was ALL BROWN, it was really hard giving directions to their house as they couldn't even put out balloons for parties. F that place. They were so happy when they moved back east.

From my experience, the HOAs have a lot of really arbitrary rules that just make it so everyone looks the same, whereas at least the government regs at least stem from some idiot who went too far, and now they had to regulate that behavior (like a bunch of cars on blocks in the front yard)...

I feel ya. Both of the houses we've bought, we specifically told the agent NO HOAs.

Lol I don't even have a tent. I use mine to hold my hi-lift, shovel, pulaski and spare tire. One day I'd love to get a RTT but right now I don't find it necessary.

Lol we get letters once a week from out HOA management company. We have arguably the nicest house in the neighborhood too. I got cited for working on my truck in the street, my mowing trailer in my driveway (it was there for all of 3 hours), having a sign in my front yard to promote our business, not having a working lamppost even though we have landscaping lighting that lights up the whole property, having too many vehicles in the street, having a vehicle in the backyard, not getting a construction permit from the HOA when we built our patio. I'm sure I'm missing some but it's ridiculous how they will single us out for everything and the people next door have 6 foot thistles and grass that hasn't been cut in over a year.
