Ah gotcha. Method has some that'll fit I believe. I haven't looked at others. Could be a good option though...

Not enough. My current tires get a little filleted on the edges. I'm saving one weekend for hubs, swapping coilover sides, and cutting more of the pinch weld area... probably more than 1 weekend tbh

It's a process, spent a whole weekend doing my tubs. Thankfully I have more room than most because I tubbed with 4° of caster dialed from the upper arm. So if I ever get a bigger tire I just dial that down to a less dumb number like 2.5-3° and have a little more room at the pinch side.

What kind of wheels do you like? There's some awesome steel ones these days too.

I think steel would be nice if someone has em. Fifteen52 has those sort of steel style alloys but not sure on sizes.

Ha. Didn't see that before I posted my reply. But agreed, steel would be good. Then have them powdered if you really want a certain color.

Decent baseline for my truck if I ever went BaT. I haven't cracked 100k though, plus my shell/rack is better. Just don't see many lightly modified ones on there. I'd bet this person is a member.

Plan is to just "unbuild," mine, put steelies and a softopper on it and call it done. And ignore, to the best of my ability, the temptation for an early/sexier year front end swap.

Agreed. Still pulled a decent number out of it, but someone is going to have some adjustments to make.

I honestly don't understand it. It would make more sense if it was in mint condition, or double cab, or at least had the supercharger on it. But that configuration is utterly unremarkable. I mean for fuck sake it has an auto and it's the most boring common color they made.

None of it makes sense. There was a white, same mileage-ish, double cab, auto pre-runner that went nearly $18K in July. Fuckin toss-up on what happens. Makes more sense to hold onto imo.

I like the rotational effect on this reel. A couple of us got to wheel with this guy a couple of years ago.

Been on a trip until today, was behind a loaded up FJ on the way home. I don't know what was up but dude couldn't even go the speed limit on a 55mph freeway.

    Views were good though...
