I didn't read ths comments but why do you think people think twice about the title?

 

Because it's not very fun to import vehicles from Canada, even if it was previously a Texas truck just because it's subject to a whole bunch of paperwork and inspections now. It's not so bad for an importing dealer, kinda tricky for a private party.

 

Only Canadian title vehicle I've run across was a Challenger SRT8 a guy bought and he loved it so much he wanted to add an extended warranty to it (got it private party or auction)

When I crunched in the vin, it flagged in the system that it can't be added in the US due it being made for Canada

 

It's a tiny bit sketch for us cause we cant check for leins or stolen status or anything either when it comes from another country

 

For only $2k less (minus import fees)

 

So I bought mine in Whitehorse, YT. It was originally an Arkansas vehicle, then PA, then MI, then got imported to Canada. It lived there for like 14 years before I bought it.

Bringing in a made for Canada vehicle isn’t worth the effort, but bringing mine in was easy. They didn’t even inspect it at the border. Just stamped some papers and that was it.

 

I mean I'm not sure the guy knows English but I'd love to have that thing. I don't fit in standard cabs but still it makes me miss my first one. Right color, year, and options

 

You're the second person I've met who's Tacoma came from Yukon. The other I met was actually a Canadian market vehicle though

 

I wonder what drove them to do that.

$24.5K is nuts for this. I think I would've preferred to have the T-100 I posted about yesterday.

 

That picked up a lot at the end, figured it was gonna end around 13-14k cause it had no bites.

 

The buyers username is roulettemillionaire if that means anything.
