Been out of the Toyota game for a while but I’m back. Been messing around with Europeans. I’m looking for a lead for a full OME/Bilstein set up for my new to me 04 DC taco. I remember ordering for toytec/Down south motor sports…has things changed? Where should I look?

ToyTec is still around probably still sells billies and whatnot too, but they'll try to sell you their own products as well. Downsouth is around as well but got bought by another company and doesn't have the best customer service anymore. Have you looked at the offerings from Exit Offroad, the owner is a good dude and super responsive.

Seems to be more so a dobinsons dealer which I have no issues with as I have not used any of their stuff. All my past yotas have been OME/Billies

Yeah he is a dobinsons seller but I could have sworn he carried ARB/OME too. Dobinsons is good stuff but a bit more expensive than OME.

Unfortunately my old favorites like Wheeler's off-road and low range off-road were purchased by trail gear. They probably still sell this stuff but the service has changed a little. Like they'll no longer install the right bushings for your rear shocks...etc you could probably piece together your own kit from places like summit racing or directly from ARB. I'm sure four wheel parts still sells it too but I haven't purchased from them in a long time.

So, when you surround yourself with buddies that are just like you...one of them is bound to have steel tube that you need

Hung out with a buddy for a few hours, and he happened to have over 40' of 1.5" square tube which is what I need for my new table

    20231014_193238.jpg

Also put together a new 2 pin plug as I'll mount a hard wired port to the rear of my plasma cutter for connecting my raw voltage

    20231014_194514.jpg

Not a fan of running my cables through the vents out to the VIM module the way it's recommended

So what’s the situation with the voltmeter? Better meter gives more accurate settings?

Pretty sure that's how the auto height controller gauges how well the cut is doing
