Going from once a week when I used to work, to once every two weeks since I moved out here to once every three months since Theo was born

Stephanie finally understood why Theo has so much hair, gets it from me as baldness and thinning hair is non-existent in our bloodline

 

damn apparently I'm getting paid on days worked while remote vs hours I put in, hell yeah

That's on my level, I get 3 maybe 4 haircuts a year

 

Told myself I wasn't going to go older gen, but there's a tempting local GX470 I may go check out. Long service history and dealer maintained, one owner corporate, no accidents, 90K on it. Wish it wasn't white, but hey, worse things than white over tan. At the same dealer I've used in the past but they put it on their outlet lot because of age. Worth a peek.

 

Why

 

Curiosity mostly. Might hate it, might be a shitbox, might not, who knows, but its next to where I work, so why not. Plus they're cheap. A change from looking at 460s anyway.

 

I travelled 2,149 miles today to find out that manufacturing shipped a unit with the wrong specs (half the hard drive space…which we specifically waited for months to have upgraded) Whoooooops.




Other than that, doing solid and might just spend the evening contemplating other jobs.

 

Not to try to make you feel dumb about it or anything

I really enjoy my GX470 and there's nothing I'd really change from it except to delete the rear air suspension

With that said, I got it out of necessity and because it checked off all the boxes as a "dad mobile"

You and I have similar (and sometimes different) taste in vehicles so I won't give you shit about considering the GX, but if it isn't in a color you'd enjoy why even consider it?

I love the blue on my GX and that was indeed a small factor for getting it; I can't stand the old man white or gold on these things and they look aged out AF in those colors

Haha you're good, I don't feel dumb, I really am just curious about it and the model in general. The gold/champagne is awful lol. I don't hate white, I suppose I'd say I'm mostly neutral about it. Most 470s I see for sale here are in the more boring colors. That Cypress Pearl Green they did was so good, but I've literally never seen one for sale when I've looked. I do like the rear seats not being built in and having that bigass lip like the 460s and I've heard a few people say they prefer them over the 460, which I found surprising. I was twiddling my thumbs waiting on a clean early 460 in Knights Armor Pearl over sepia, but recently opened up to some pre-2020, because that '20+ facelifted grille is just, no.
