lame...in 16 years of driving I've never so much as had a chipped windshield until earlier this year, some freaking semi truck flung a rock at my truck's windshield and put a big chip in the glass. It hasn't grown yet though luckily, been probably 9 months since.

 

My Corolla is on it’s 12th windshield

Nah it's not. Any crack leading to the edge of the windshield should not be fixed.

Yup damn semi truck was dropping rocks. Tried slowing down but couldn't avoid them. The rocks weren't even big.

My youngest brother has only been driving for a few years & he's had 3 windshield replacements already. I've been driving for 24 yrs & this is the first time I need a windshield replacement. My very first crack was a few months ago on the way back from Pismo. I fixed it though & it's pretty much invisible. But this one can't be fixed. Dammit!

My windshiled is pitted up pretty bad so in a sense I'm happy to get a new one but still fak!
