Many times! My garage used to look like a junkyard.

 

stupid plan of the week, my dad bailed on helping me with the 4runner so I am contemplating bringing a spare set of tires and doing a parking lot oil change before driving it the 225 miles back.

 

Dude. I’ve got shit everywhere. I have shit in the basement too. Soo much Toyota fluids. Soo many parts. So many tools. Fuck I have 7 toolboxes and a stronghold cabinet full of tools.

Yeah something is wrong with you with all those fluids! When I got out of Hondas I got rid of everything. Even scrapped a few good engines. I still have a bunch of engine wire harnesses, don't know why though. Now my garage is full of machining shit. Still have all my automotive tools though. I'll never sell any of my tools.

 

138 quarts of WS fluid. 26 gallons of Toyota pink antifreeze. I drain and fill my Avalon’s trans every oil change. Lol. I need to sell some of this shit

 

Excuse me but wasn't it you that lost your truck running to a restuarant to eat?

 

And I have a ton of scrap Toyota harnesses. They come in handy. Damn pigtails are expensive

 

I'm known to hoard parts & have duplicates of tools but not fluids.

 

We don’t talk about that.

 

Techs just give it to me whenever they have leftovers and I keep my leftovers. Lol

 

Was told a diagnostic appointment would be around 130$, what in the fuuuuuuck.

 

Did you ask for a diagnostic? That may mean hooking up a live data scan tool and testing it to them. Just bring it in and ask for them to check out the noise.

 

Diag for what. Standard rate is 1 hr for diag, so 130 sounds about rught

 

Lol, my dealer wont even charge for that.

 

I ask them how much it would cost to have someone sit in my truck and that’s what I got

Oh. Yea I was thinking check engine light or something. Noises are usually free until we hear it. Then It’s pay to go further

 

Not so much worried about the mess as the longevity of an impulse buy 4runner with unknown mileage lmao
