I mean that launch where you burned through first and second gear felt strong, I didn't feel your break loose in 2nd :stirthepot:
You are rambling but yes, the pickups and Tacomas have different R150f trans, different input shaft lengths and different tcase drop setups.
    Apparently.
I hope this spring there's a big grey bus in that line up. Bad timing this time.

You must have early onset dementia, I burned 1st and 2nd and then heard "COP!" before grabbing (grinding lol) third.

How was the weather out in Mojave this time of year?

The first time I ran it was in mid Dec, 2016. We camped closer to the Nevada side of the Mojave Road trail at an old cattle corral. Was a 14° low at night and windy as fuck, I remember getting up to pee around 3am with a wild thirst and headache from drinking way too much cheap whisky and thinking this is how I'm gonna die.

Was also the trip that taught me to sleep with your water bottle in your sleeping bag in those conditions unless you want a useless block of ice

I don't think I was burning second before your trans saved you from the deputy :p

I think your truck pulls hard. If you had small tires I would be in trouble. As they sit today I think it would be a very exciting run on the drag strip. Maybe one day next year you'll be down for an open session at the strip and forget to turn the boost to 9.

They sure did, road win start streak now tied for best in NHL history....sure didn't expect that after those awful 2 first periods. Can imagine how pissed all the Columbus fans were after that game winning goal by the Kings lol

Wasn't bad at all, little windy here and there but 55* days average and lows around the low to mid 30s. Was a bit cold on the way down though, Yreka was 22 overnight and Bishop was 13. I do fine in the cold in the tent though, and if we have a real wood fire I'm fine around that too. Its windy chilly nights and no full bonfire that let me get chilly.

Yeah the wind is the worst. I can handle cold fine but freezing cold high winds are another thing entirely.

You should come up here with something when Qlispe opens up for the season. Forget 9, that's normal for me when the intercooler doesn't have a hole in it, we going to 14 next season.

Appreciate the concern. I had three 3.4/Tacoma R150Fs on a shelf at one point and sold one to @Running Board Man , used one, and one is trashed. Then I had a friend insist on using a 3.4 R150F in his two door 2nd gen 4Runner 5VZ swap and that was a headache.

This was my Snap-On guy’s floor mat. Had a good laugh before I gave him my right kidney.
