80 platform is my favorite. But I'm content owning just the one right now. The price run up has kept me from finding another pristine one to stash away. Maybe at some point, though.

I always smile and wave at 80's that I see. They're pretty rare around here. Which is weird, bc 1st Gen Tacos are incredibly common... almost like TSLAs.

BTW, my very first LC was a locked '94 in BRP. I didn't keep up with the rust and had to let her go. Shame on me. Glad that you're keeping yours going and giving it good use.

Yeah, the trim runs vertically along the glass and then goes up and over the roof.

Same here; had the glass replaced on the last Vette (C6 with HU display) and the 80 series.

Guy had done an 80 series before so he knew about getting the molding done right. Even had that blue strip at the very top :bananadance:

I may have seen it, may have not.

Even if it ain't getting what he's asking, still has to be worth a lot to someone.

And to think he just held onto it ever since he got it traded in.

I heard it on the radio on the way in. Radio report said neighbors had complained before that she would leave the baby alone for hours, why the fuck wasn't anything done then. Awful

    Dude

That would be automatic child endangerment already, why the fu would she be able to keep her kid

One of those "could've been prevented" scenarios

Poor kid. Not even 2 years old only knew neglect and probably hunger/thirst her whole 16 months of being alive. Should toss the mom in a cell and leave her there for a month with nothing.

I hope the fine inmates of whatever correctional facility she's put in make her life a never ending torture, an absolute pain to be alive. Thankfully if there's one thing that prisoners usually don't tolerate it's people that mess with kids, letting one starve until death isn't gonna fly.

Especially at a woman's correctional facility, many of them would literally kill to be with their own child.

yeah, but then a lot of those cases become high profile and then the prisoner gets special treatment to avoid altercations like that unfortunately. Aka the Subway creep, somehow still wasting oxygen

I hope (and don't think) that would be the case for her.

She's no one famous, etc. so she could and would most likely end up in the general population.

People will know who she is and what she did before she even goes to county; she'll get hers.

Jared both began and ended his career by trying to get into a smaller pair of pants.

I listened to a podcast on the investigation that eventually brought him down and it's pretty wild. Some small town radio host that interviewed him found him creepy and basically took it upon herself to befriend him and get him on tape confessing to stuff, eventually getting the FBI involved and they made her an official informant for years to get more evidence. Pretty crazy stuff.

Honestly gut feelings can be a 6th sense, good on her for going about it wisely.

For sure. It took a huge toll on her though and understandably so, she basically had to pretend to be into the same stuff as him to get him talking and confiding in her. And she did it for years. Her interview on the show was really interesting to hear
