Beautiful car. Those are like the sedan version of the 80 series Land Cruiser.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
I'm not sure I'd have appreciated it on the red, but if I had the color I really was after, Dark Emerald Pearl, I would have thought gold badges would look sweet.

Oh hey which layout of badges is correct, I've seen them both ways but always assumed one happened after a repaint or bodywork.

    This is what I have

But I sometimes see them with the Yota badge in the center like this

Yea I figured this one might not have sludge since he drive it so much. I thought that mainly developed when they were used as grocery getters and weren’t allowed to get up to temp.

I’ve also read on some forums that the smaller coolant or oil passages after 8/96 for emissions contributed to the sludging. There was a lawsuit about it, so it must’ve been fairly widespread. Hopefully most have been fixed by now, but I’m not sure.

I was going to say what if it's the year that dictated it but maybe they just relocated it.

Mine was on the left like yours

That red is the best looking 80 series color IMO, except for maybe Nightshadow Pearl.

    @Speedytech7

Gonna grab steel today, you still needing this?

Did a quick cut path so you can see those reliefs I talked about

    Screenshot 2023-12-12 100726.png

Just won't have reliefs at the arrow tip/ends cause those would be separate start-stops and I don't want to ruin it with so many pierces

They certainly are classic cars at this point, I know, we love them.

Disregard, I just taught myself how to link an open chain into one continuous cut

Has anyone proved the efficacy of the “Wingdings” font yet?

I swear I would randomly get that line stuck in my head for years and maybe even recently, not remembering what it was from. That commercial goes way too hard for how lame that game actually was lol.

that game was basically Hungry Hungry Hippos without the hippos. But the 90s were just like that, crazy ass commercials for pretty lame toys.
