It must be true then. What they say about what happens during retrograde.

Mercury went into retrograde starting today.

    Stuff. Also things.
Came for the chunking and stayed for the tapping!

That dude definitely knows his way around a 7 string. Would love to see how his effects loop is set up, especially with that reverse killpot button thingy that he was using for that sweet 8-bit effect early in the song.

Definitely big Buckethead vibes, for sure, as that dude rips without sounding played out! Both of them just make it look effortless.

Man I haven't heard Soothsayer in a minute haha. Buckethead is a legend still. As for Berried Alive, the dude and his wife are the whole band, pretty technical and heavy and on the non instrumentals he is often on vocals at the same time though he has had some featured dirty vocalists. I love how accurate he is though, like I'm pretty sure even without his pedal board hooked up it would be captivating.

How long did this thread's rant session last when rolling stone's guitar list came out a couple months ago? :annoyed:

I like hearing musician's comments on musicality and technique, usually in a jam session. Don't want to hear some old guys who used to play just write about what they don't like in the industry. I don't read any of that published shit

Just accepted a job with an open checkbook, guess we will see how this goes. Going to outfit a co-workers 1st gen tundra. Installing an ARB front bumper, cutting his bedsides and assembling a coastal offroad high clearance bumper and fitting and welding some sliders he picked up (didn't tell me brand). Then gonna do things he should have when he installed his lift, like longer rear brake line and some inner fender trimming on the front end to clear his 34s. Told him I'd charge $60/hr for the install work and anything involving modification and welding is $115/hr.

That should be a pretty sweet gig. Sounds like a lot of work though, what's your timeline on that?
